Example run sheet

This is the sort of info that is useful to give, the form prompts you for info:

Organizer: (your name) Contact: (landline) or (mobile) on the day
[contact details help members call you for more details or summon help on the day]

Email: (your email address)
[how the runs co-ordinator will contact you]

Title: Viaducts, Views and Valleys
[give it a friendly name]

Date: Sunday 26th April
[say if you have a specific date in mind, otherwise the runs coordinator will allocate one]
[the form uses two digits for the day; two for the month and four for the year; no slashes]

Type of run: (choose from list)
[it's good to know what's expected of both you and your bike]

Start place and time: 9.00am Holmer Road garage, Hereford.
[the start time and place is crucial]

Additional pick-up point: none
[You can save some members a few miles if they can join you nearer home]

Distance: 150 miles
[this helps members decide whether their bike (and rider) can cope]

Route: mostly A & B roads with some lanes. Warning: This will be a brisk run including both 70mph dual carriageways & 20mph side streets in mining towns. Please make sure you and your bike are capable of both!
[this also helps members decide whether their bike (and rider) can cope]

Highlights:  Viaducts, Views and Valleys (lots of them)
[give them a teaser!]

Meal/Drink Stops: Morning – Honey Café, Bronllys (9.45am). Lunch – Afan Valley Visitor Centre (only basic snacks at café or bring a picnic). Afternoon – Honey Café, Bronllys.
[tell 'em if they need to bring sandwiches!]

Finish: Bronllys 4.30pm
[the finish point helps members get home; the end time helps too]

Special Requirements: Fill your tank at the start – there’s no fuel in the valleys except coal!
[you can put anything here]
