An invitation

This club is one of the cheapest around with a huge number of activities running throughout the year making it excellent value for money.  Not only do we have fun but we raise significant amounts for charity.

Keeping the club successful is simply a matter of organising events for others to enjoy and it’s clear that we are very good at that.  Of course, this doesn’t happen by accident and there is always a need for members to help with the organisation.  So, consider joining the team of people who do this for you.  This can be as little or as much as you want – every little helps, as they say.

If you want to find out more, come along to one of the committee meetings, find out what’s going on and who’s doing what.  As a member you will have fresh ideas and suggestions which can help with planning and organisation.  There’s no pressure for you to take up a formal committee role, just bring something new to stop us getting stale and predictable.

A steady change of committee officers is healthy for any club and ideally we would like to have new faces joining each year to keep us fresh and vibrant.  You could be one of those people.

Committee meetings take place at The Bush Inn on the second Wed evening each month from 8pm – they typically last between 60-90 mins.
